Adam Milstein is the son of Hillei Milstein and his wife, Eva Milstein. He was born in Israel in a city called Haifa, but his family later moved to Kiryat Motzkin and Kiryat Yam where he spent his formative years. Adam Milsten joined the Israeli Army in 1971 and participated in the Yom Kippur war in 1973. Among those assigned to Sharon’s army division was Adam Milstein and they traversed the Egyptian’s Suez Canal to surrender Egyptian’s Third Army division.
Milstein holds a Business and Economics degree from the Israel Institute of Technology where he enrolled after serving in the Army. Adam met his wife Gila in 1974, and together they have three daughters and grandchildren. The couple moved to the United States in 1981 and in 1983, Adam joined South California University in Los Angeles and graduated with an MBA.

He is also the co-founder of Sifriyat pijam. This group supply books on a monthly basis to Hebrews to teach Jewish values to 15,000 Israel-Jewish who live in America. He is also the co-partner of Hager Pacific Properties which is involved in real estate development. Maggie Gill is Memorial Health’s CEO and president. Gill is also Memorial Health board of directors’ ex office member. She joined Memorial University Medical Center in 2004. At the time, Maggie Gill worked as the vice president of finance and managed care. The following year, Gill became the chief operating officer. Six years later, she was appointed to serve as the president and the chief executive officer of the company.
At Memorial Health, she offers leadership to all the firm’s physician leaders, senior vice presidents, and vice presidents. Gill is also directly in charge of Memorial Health University’s physicians, internal audit as well as the Heart and Vascular Institute, and government relations. She also reported to the Memorial Health board about her concerns over the decreasing revenues at the firm. This board is responsible for running Memorial University Medical Center and its affiliate entities. She pointed out that the program she began in July, known as Pathways to Excellence, had identified an overall savings of $ 12.6 million. These savings include $ 7.6 million from a health care enhancement company, Premier Inc., which is located in Charlotte.
Premier Inc. supports the plan. It will facilitate the local provider to achieve results in the next 6 months. Gill pointed out that the plan would be ready for the upcoming strategic opportunities. Additionally, Maggie Gill and other board members warned of increasing revenue challenges even though the number of patients was increasing.
The Story of Malini Saba
I’m always interested in reading stories about strong and successful women who achieve the impossible. It’s especially important for little girls who come from a disadvantaged background to have positive role models that they can look up to, and to know that their socioeconomic backgrounds don’t have to imprison them their entire lives. That’s why I find the story of entrepreneur Malini Saba to be so compelling.
Saba was born to Sri Lankan parents in the South Asian city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She moved to the United States when she was only 19 years old, with nothing but the clothes on her back and a small amount of cash. Upon first settling in the States, she lived in a low-rent apartment by the train tracks, which she recalls would shake every time a train passed by. She knows what it’s like to have nothing and to struggle to make a living day in and day out.
This didn’t deter her from pursuing her dreams, however. In the ’90s, using money she had saved over the years, she began learning about business and investing. As the spouse of a Stanford student, she was able to attend lectures for free. Stree: Global Investments in Women
Eager to use her business and investment knowledge for the greater good, Saba founded her Stree organization in 2001, which has since helped over three million women. The purpose of Stree is to educate low-income and at-risk women and their children about the positive role they can play in society, as well as providing them with access to healthcare, legal resources, and forums for greater engagement with public policy in Africa, Central America, India, and Eastern Europe. Stree has been supported by both former U.S. president Bill Clinton and Jordan’s Queen Noor.
Outside of her own organization, Saba is known as one of the world’s foremost South Asian philanthropists. She donated $10 million to help Sri Lankan and Indian tsunami victims in 2004. In 2005, she donated $1 million to the world’s first Heart Research Center for South Asian people.
With such outstanding credentials, Saba is truly an inspiration to women and young girls all over the world.
Maggie Gill is the current chief executive officer and president of Memorial Health. Gill serves as an ex office member of the health institution’s governing council. The Memorial University Medical Center (MUMC) hired Maggie Gill as the finance and managed care vice president in 2004. At MUMC, she assists vice presidents with leadership advice. Her other responsibilities include internal audit, government relations, and physician relations. Gill has membership in the State Medicaid Subcommittee for Medicaid Expansion and the American Hospital Association Governing Council.
Gill’s Academic and Work Background
Gill attended Florida State University for her bachelor’s degree. She also attended Florida-based Saint Leo University for her MBA. She completed a strategic thinking and management course at Wharton School. Gill served as an executive for established health institutions before working with MUMC. She worked as Tenet South Florida’s CFO and received three awards from the health institution for her financial initiatives. She was also employed by Coral Gables Hospital, North Shore Medical Center, and Palmetto General Hospital.
Her work inspired Memorial Health’s executive board, and they decided to appoint her as CEO in 2011. After being named CEO, Maggie Gill transformed the institution’s collection and billing operations. She also developed a 2011 strategic plan besides making changes in the leadership team. Memorial Health’s executive board chairman, J. Curtis Lewis praised Gill’s efforts. He said that the health institution would greatly benefit from her expertise.
Memorial Health Partners with Novant Health
Under Gill’s leadership, Memorial Health signed a partnership contract with Novant Health. The partnership allows the two health institutions to work together with a common mission. Gill said that health organizations across the US are partnering to implement the Affordable Care Act effectively. She also mentioned that the health care system in the US is expensive and, thus, Memorial Health is being proactive to address the issue by partnering with Novant Health.
Gill pointed out that charity care funding is no longer available in hospitals because the federal government expects every person to have a health insurance. She said that Memorial Health seeks to help those who aren’t covered by channeling Novant Health as a non-profit health institution. This partnership will allow the board of directors of both organizations to collaborate in decision-making. Gill also said that the move would enhance Memorial Health’s mission to serve the community by taking into account their future needs.

Fabletics was officially launched in October 2013. The company, founded by Kate Hudson, Adam Goldenberg, and Don Ressler, aims to produce workout clothing for working out, or for every day wear. Fabletics launched its men’s line, FL2 in June, 2015. By March of 2016 the company had added dresses and swim wear. The company has now opened Brick- and Mortar stores around the country, and hopes to open 75-100 new stores in the next 3-5 years.
Fabletics is a work-out clothing brand by Kate Hudson. Hudson says that she wants the clothing to be “all inclusive.” But what does this really mean? She said in a statement that this means the products will be available in a large range of sizes, styles, and colors. It also means making athletic-wear for those actually looking to work out, and for those who simply want clothes to wear around every day. She feels that most work out companies don’t strive to make clothing for women who are larger. Hudson says that making larger sizes is something she finds very important. To make its clothing even more inclusive, Fabletics recently added dresses and swimwear to the mix.
Fabletics is partially known for their unique, fun advertising techniques. One commercial depicts a woman returning a pair of pants that were see-through. At a yoga class, other people were telling her that they are able to see through her pants. At the end of the commercial, the woman has on a pair of Fabletics pants, and is receiving compliments from others about how they can’t even see her “parts.” Another ad shows a woman trying to buy a pair of plain pants, but the price keeps going up. When she asks the cashier about it, she tells the woman that they keep getting more expensive because the pants are black, and very exclusive. She then decides she doesn’t want the pants, and comes back later with an entire Fabletics outfit she purchased for only 25 dollars. Besides funny advertisements, the company also makes fun, upbeat commercials. In one commercial, women are running and doing yoga on beaches and nature trails. In the background, there is upbeat music playing, while a pleasant voice describes the low price and high quality of Fabletics clothing.
