What started out as a monthly publication reporting on financial issues in March of 1990 on American Movie Classic’s (better known as AMC)the news magazine grew a larger audience when they added government issues, celebrity appearances, the newest medical breakthroughs and the latest research in technology.

Since 2010 NewsWatch TV have had some very notable celebrity guest appearances that include actress Julianne Moore (The Lost World, Jurassic Park), country singer Carrie Underwood, and actor Woody Harrelson (Cheers, Glass Castle). Other high profile names to appear on the television magazine are professional golfer Phil Mickelson, actor Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy), football player Joe Montana, and actor Chris Noth (Sex in the City).

Over the years NewsWatch TV has been the recipient of several awards and nominations. In 2017 both a Gold and Platinum Marcom Award were given to the television magazine, and the National Videographer Award for Excellence was as well. In 2016 a win for a Silver Telly Award and a nomination for a second one were both honored on NewsWatch TV.

Entering into the 21st century NewsWatch TV continues to deliver the most recent news and entertainment available. Airing on AMC on Monday mornings at 7 AM and all ION affiliates, syndication can also be found on local television stations.
